About.

Louis Quiniou.

Motorsport specialist, with extensive knowledge of regulations, I am the Team Manager for RS Historics, an Italian team based in Giussano, north from Milano, in the Monza and Brianza area.

We specialize in historic Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula 3, Prototypes, GT and Touring cars from the sixties to the late nineties. We also operate on a smaller scale in modern racing and the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo.

Besides the running and organization of the team along with suppliers, I handle technical and sporting programs, starting from restoration work, all the way to the actual track and competitions.

I am also a technical consultant for regulatory items with the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), which relates to my previous position, having conducted Project 2025 which overhauled the FIA Appendix K to new standards. I also offer technical consultancies for limited businesses in the historic motorsport world.

Previously and for 8 years I was Head of the Historic Technical Passport administration at the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) in Geneva, Switzerland.

Historic cars are a passion and having been involved in motorsport through the historic scene for more than 10 years, I have worked with all the main actors and promoters of the sport in that period, from regulatory work to event promotion, including organization and freight, I have acquired a very large range of skills and knowledge of not only the sport but the cars too.

I like sharing this knowledge; this website is a platform to share the odd story. As I like to say, it’s knowledge driven by passion.

This website intends to share content related to the history of motorsport and detail some of its stories. The website is private and only represents the personal views or positions of its author.

  1. Good morning.

I am to soon start a cutaway illustration of the 1973 Cologne Capri car for its current Owner.

I managed to get photographs with some bonnet, doors boot removed. Would you have any photos with any panels removed as they are not removable on the complete car. Especially the basic level of roll cage and base shell and anything else possible.

Any information would be very gratefully received. Please see website below to see what I have already illustrated.

    Kind regards
